JEFFREY HUTCHISON AND ASSOCIATES WINS RETAIL DESIGN INSTITUTE’S 50TH INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION
JHA Wins For Both Holt Renfrew Ogilvy and Ippolita
The Retail Design Institute has selected Jeffrey Hutchison and Associates’ recent projects, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal and Ippolita in Chicago as two of the 25 winners in its 50th annual design competition.
“It’s an honor to have both of our 2020 projects selected for this prestigious award alongside other outstanding retail stores, stated Jeffrey Hutchison, Founder of Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates. Both Holt Renfrew Ogilvy and Ippolita bring creativity and innovation through storytelling, and their success is recognized in winning this international design award.
These amazing projects would not have been realized without the efforts of the project teams. I would like to thanks the entire Holt Renfrew Team as well as Cooley Monato Studio (Lighting), Lemay (Architects) and Reliance (Construction) for their efforts on Holt Renfrew Ogilvy. The new Ippolita Chicago store would not have happened without the creativity and direction provided by Ippolita and her team as well as Cooley Monato Studios (Lighting), Fujikawa Johnson Gobel (Architect) and Crane (Construction)”
The 25 winning projects make up the Institute’s “Class of 2020” — projects representing the “best of the best” stores opened in 2020. The judging panel consisted of Professional members of the Institute representing its various Chapters.
The Institute’s Store of the Year and Innovation Awards will be revealed on October 12 at a virtual event to be simulcast from New York City on YouTube.
